are now making beautiful music in heaven.

FRANK COURTEPATTE: Born in Barhead,Alberta on February 20, 1927 he lived in Alberta most of his life. He moved to Brandon in June of 2003 to be with his special friend Patricia and remained until his death on August 24, 2004. Frank had two children, a son and a daughter. He was buried in Fort Assiniboine, Alberta
STAN MARCIN: Passed away peacefully at home on January 29, 2005. Stan dedicated his life to his music, playing in many bands around the Westman area. He was well known and loved for his humour and his "traveling front porch" as he called it. It was actually his camper that he would set up wherever he went and proceed to play his guitar for anyone who wanted to listen. He leaves to mourn one daughter, a son-in-law and a granddaughter as well as siblings, extended family and many, many friends who will miss his special take on life.
SARAH REMPLE: Sarah passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on July 25, 2005. Sarah made her home in Douglas and never missed a jam at Sprucewoods. She was our most fervent fan! She looked forward to seeing everyone at the end of every month and was always full of laughter and good cheer for everyone. She will be greatly missed.
JOCELYN HILL: February 26, 1954-January 25, 2006. Jocelyn was sister to our own Susan from MOBS who has graced us with her presence often. Jocelyn also loved the jams and attended regularly. She especially loved bluegrass music and because of this some of the Jammers were invited to play at her funeral. Jocelyn's family in turn donated $100.00 to our Westman Dreams For Kids" Christmas Concert fund. Jocelyn's family will deeply miss her presence but hopefully the sound of bluegrass music will keep her alive in their hearts. She holds a special place in ours!

He was on the executive of the ANAF club until his death. He enjoyed playing along on the piano and would often play one of his own compositions. Our condolences to his wife, Donna and extended family. He remains in our hearts. We will miss him!

She will be remembered lovingly by all the members of Westman Jams and our sympathy goes out to her family.
