She lost her beloved Hollis in 2006 after being married for 49 years!  Together they had 5 children and now there are 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grands.  Her family has stayed in Western Canada.

Barb says she is always where she is needed most and has volunteered with the Jams for at least 7 years now which takes us back to the beginning....

She feels that the Jammers are her 2nd family and says that the music and the camaraderie have helped her through the tougher times of life.

Barb has graciously agreed to run for Treasurer in the upcoming election (SEPT 26th!!). She'll make a great addition to the Executive so be sure and cast your ballot
