MUSICIAN OF THE MONTH

WAYNE MORRISSEY

Wayne hails from Carberry and has been a part of our jams since January 2005. He says
he has been playing one instrument or another since he was about
12 yrs of age.  He was born in Chaplin, SK and now has 2 sons
and 3 granddaughters, the youngest of which
he has yet to meet.  He will remedy that this summer when he visits Edmonton.

He started his musical career playing the clarinet in a marching band
 and followed that up with the saxophone.

He is now concentrating on the guitar and plays with an unnamed
group in Carberry where they entertain in the seniors center. 

He has also recently agreed to learn how our equipment is set up
 so that when Reg does one of his frequent flyer trips (hehe), we aren't in a panic.
