MUSICIAN OF THE MONTH

Kaz Rudniski

Kaz is our 2nd fiddle player to be recognized as
Musician of the Month. He lives in Rivers, MB with his wife
with whom he has 2 daughters and 8 grandchildren. He says that his wife is his biggest critic,
and he still hopes that one day one of his grandchildren will inherit his fiddle talents.

Kaz says his Dad played fiddle but after his mother died,
Dad hung up the instrument and never played it again. 
It hung on the wall until Kaz occasionally picked it up
 and started to learn how to play it.

He played until he got married when he turned his energies to farming and raising
a family.  After 40 years he once again found his love for music and began in earnest about
5 years ago. We are ever thankful that he did.

Kaz loves Westman Jams because he says it gives him something to do
on a Sunday afternoon. He enjoys all the artists and can play along with the best of them.
