MUSICIAN OF THE MONTH

Harold Whittingham aka JR Jammer
Harold dubbed himself Junior Jammer back in the early days of the Jams but he capitalized the JR
so he became affectionately known as J.R. Jammer
At the time he played banjo and guitar and had dabbled in fiddle a bit but lately he has become interested in bass so he purchased
himself an upright bass out of Ontario and is learning to play it.
He spends much of his spare time learning new songs and new instruments.
He did a really good job with it at the October Jam too!
Harold recently lost his Mom but still retains close ties to his Dad and siblings.
He has a cat named Spock, so named because of its pointy ears.
Harold lives in Brandon and works full time.
He started playing music at a young age and has his own studio set up and his own equipment!
The Jams were started just for guys like him! He's a willing volunteer and also sits on the committees whenever he's able.
